Colleting Sewing Notions and Fabrics

Many of our customers enjoy coming in and finding items that they can use in a craft project.   Quilters come in searching for vintage fabrics and notions to use in a quilt that they are creating.   The Becky’s (Becky Lee and Becky R. – who have spaces side-by-side in the store) have vintage fabrics, buttons, needle packages and other curious findings for crafting.
They oftentimes bring in pieces of vintage feed sack fabric, which flies out the door as soon as it comes in.  Packaged above are fat quarters of vintage sheet fabric.  All of the sheets are soaked in OxyClean and then washed, rinsed with Downey fabric softener and ironed.  There is even a vintage sheet blog on what to make with vintage sheets!

For those who like to scrapbook and do mixed media artwork, there are plenty of old keys, metal findings and old music sheet books to use for that special creation.

New stuff coming in every single day!  The Beckys just brought in a bunch of old keys!
